SHAH ALAM, 5 Mar: The Selangor government will disclose the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) documents on the restructuring of the water industry which was signed with the Federal Government in a week.
The Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, said that this intention has been discussed with the Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water, Datuk Seri Maximus Ongkili, in a meeting at Putrajaya yesterday.
He said that the Federal Government is not reluctant to disclose the information to the public because it does not affect the security of the state and country.
“I have told their officers the procedure and I think that we will receive the answer soon which will allow for the documents to be disclosed,” he said.
