SHAH ALAM, 28 May: The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) will organise the three-day Riang Ria Cuti Sekolah programme during the school holidays, from June 3 to 5.
The MBSA Deputy Corporate Director, Shahrin Ahmad, said that the programme will be held at the MBSA Anggerik Vanilla Library at Section 31, Kota Kemuning.
He said that this time, the programme is focused on spiritual activities including Tajweed and Talaqqi learning, such as the Juz Amma Surrah and its translation, the story behind the Al-Mulk Surah, the advantages and virtues of the Qu’ran and Qalbu transformation.
“The programmes carried out are aimed at providing education and early preparation to students to study and understand the benefits of the Qu’ran in everyday life.
“This programme aims to help children strengthen themselves by applying thinking skills, interpreting, evaluating and making decisions.
“In addition, through this programme, they can increase self-confidence through the group communication skills training held,” he said in a statement yesterday.
Participation is open to students between the ages of eight and 15, and is limited only to the first 60 participants. The entry fee of RM50 per person can be made at the main counter at Level G, Wisma MBSA.
For the convenience of participants, MBSA will also provide bus transportation from WIsma MBSA to the Anggerik Vanilla Library in Kota Kemuning.
Shahrin said on May 31, MBSA will also organise the Interactive Lab programme at the Anggrik Vanilla Library in Section 31, Kota Kemuning, and participation is also limited to only 20 participants per session.
“The three-session programme is designed to help children develop and enhance themselves by applying thinking skills by interpreting and understanding what they have learned.
“In addition, through this programme, they can increase self-confidence by training themselves in communication skills in the group training and interacting with each other,” he said.
