KLANG, 1 Sept: The people need to learn from the story where a child with wisdom, Hang Nadim, was cast into the sea so as to not repeat.
80s singer, Herman Tino, said that the people should be reminded to reject politicians, regardless of political party, who deliberately gives the Sultan of Selangor wrong reports to discredit an individual who has integrity and expertise to administer.
“We, the people of Selangor, want politicians who are smart, not who act smart by giving wrong reports.
“Hang Nadim drowned at sea despite him being smart, right? Do not get rid of smart people,” he said during the Red Yellow Wave gathering held at the Kota Raja Stadium recently.
He further explained that despite Israel being cruel against the Palestinians, they take care of their people and leaders who are smart in a particular field.
“Unfortunately, Malays get rid of the smart people and once again, I want to stress that the people of Selangor want a leader who is smart, not one who acts smart,” he said.
