SHAH ALAM, 14 Sept: The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) will be organising the Selangor Music Expression 2014 programme to search for talented and versatile musical groups.
According to the press statement by MBSA, the talent search is in collaboration with the National Department of Culture & Arts (JKKN) and will take place at Laman Budaya on September 14.
Participation is free and participants are required to present a song that has the concept of patriotism, nature, humanity and divinity.
Participants are encouraged to use instruments from natural materials and it can either be solo or in a group.
Attractive prizes await the winner, RM2,000, the runner-up. RM1,500 and third place, RM1,000.
The first to third place winners will also take home electronics sponsored by Panasonic, while the consolation prizes are worth up to RM150.
