KOTA TINGGI, 16 Sept: The several PAS Youth delegates wearing black jackets with the words ‘Kami bersama Presiden dan Majlis Syura’ (We are with the President and Syura Council) are believed to be from Terengganu and Selangor.
They are believed to be supporters of the PAS President, Datuk Abdul Hadi Awang, who left the hall when the Deputy President of the party, Mohamad Sabu, was speaking.
It is believed to be linked to the Selangor political crisis where Mohamad Sabu is seen as supporting the PKR President, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the new Chief Minister of Selangor.
Meanwhile, Hadi and the Syura Ulama council were leaning towards rejecting Wan Azizah for the seat, and also adhered to the request of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idrish Shah, to send more than two candidate’s names.
The 55th PAS Youth Conference themed Strengthening Solidarity will last for two days starting September 16 at the Chon Moi Hall here.
