SHAH ALAM, 18 Sept: The new Chief Minister of Selangor will be sworn in on September 23 (Tuesday) at Balairong Seri, Istana Shah Alam, Klang, at 10 am.
This was confirmed by the Palace secretary, Arfiq Farid, when contacted by Selangor Kini this afternoon.
This was also acknowledged by the Sultan of Selangor’s Secretary, Datuk Mohamad Munir Bani.
It is understood that the invitation card for the Swearing-in Ceremony has been distributed to state leaders, elected representatives and dignitaries.
It is understood that the newly appointed Chief Minister will be revealed soon, after a final decision on the position is made.
Invited guests are required to wear the national dress and black songkok.
