AMK: Pakatan leaders should return to strengthening the coalition together

SHAH ALAM, 22 Sept: The Keadilan Youth (AMK) has noted the views and criticism by the PAS President, Datuk Seri Hadi Awang, in his winding-up speech at the PAS Congress openly.

The AMK Deputy Chief, Dr Afif Bahardin hopes that political cooperation should be based on the togetherness and trust as agreed upon initially when Pakatan Rakyat was formed.

It is by advocating the principles of justice and freedom in Malaysia within the framework provided by the Federal Constitution.

“Therefore, the spirit and goals should be instilled and brought back to life for the sake of regaining bilateral relations which is now seen as weakening,” said Afif in a press statement.

He said that the Pakatan Rakyat leaders should immediately find common ground by going back to the table and uplifting the spirit of togetherness as the core to strengthen Pakatan Rakyat again.

“PAS, DAP and KEADILAN must unite and go back to the subject of Pakatan Rakyat which is to uphold justice and freedom to create a strong Malaysia,” he said.

He said that Pakatan Rakyat also needs to start a new initiative by welcoming the participation of other political parties, including parties from Borneo, to work together to confront Umno-Barisan Nasional in the next general election,

“The people have high hopes to see a Pakatan Rakyat which is intact and strong to defend and uphold their rights,” he said.
