SUBANG JAYA, 29 Sept: The Assemblywoman for Subang Jaya, Hannah Yeoh, together with Konsortium Expressway Shah Alam Selangor Sdn Bhd (Kesas) conducted fieldwork to look at the cracks in the sound barrier along the Shah Alam Expressway and UEP Subnag Jaya.
Hannah urged Keses to review the effectiveness and limitations of the sound barrier due to increased traffic on the expressway.
“I have received complaints for residents of USJ 2 and 3 regarding the cracks and I immediately sent a letter to Kesas on September 25, 2014, to inform them of the matter. Kesas answered quickly which led to the survey today,” explained Kesas.
Also present was the residents’ representative from USJ 2 RA, Har Ying Geong, and USJ 3/1 RA, Andy Lam.
Hannah expressed thanks for the cooperation shown and hopes that action will be taken immediately.
