The Sultan of Selangor awards character medals to security personnel

SHAH ALAM, 30 Sept: Two security personnel, Sub Inspector Hazizah binti Omar and Sergeant Major Mohd Salleh bin Hussain, were awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal (PPT) in conjunction with the 68th birthday of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

Hazizah and Mohd Salleh received the medal for acts of distinguished conduct at a ceremony at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Silver Jubilee Hall in Shah Alam yesterday.

Representing His Royal Highness was His Highness the Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah, accompanied by the Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali.

Topping the list of the 25 recipients of this PPT was Yang Mulia Raja Harun bin Raja Abdul Malek and Yang Mulia Raja Azman bin Raja Tahir.

At the same event, the Fire Department Senior Assistant Superintendent, Radzuan bin Mohd Nor was awarded the Selangor Distinguished Service Medal (PPC) for his outstanding service and admirable behaviour throughout his seven years or more serving with the state government.

Meanwhile, the service and obedience of Warrant Officer I Mohamad Yaacob bin Wahab, Warrant Officer JJM Zulkefli bin Mohamed Warrant Officer II Mohd Razali bin Mansor, Sergeant Sudiskumar A/L Chinnamuthu, Sergeant Mohd Fazil bin Ahmad Sergeant Rostamizi bin Haji Raus, Sub Inspector (volunteer) Zarina binti Osman, Inspector (volunteer) M. Aziz bin Hamin and Lance Corporal (volunteer) Abdul Malek bin Abdul Hamid while performing duties for the state of Selangor were awarded the Meritorious Service Medal (PJK).

A total of 180 people received awards from HRH at this time’s celebration.
