KUALA LUMPUR, 13 Oct: Rafizi Ramli has been appointed as the new Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Secretary-General to replace the previous incumbent, Datuk Saifuddin Nasution.
This has been confirmed by the PKR de facto leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, when met here at the Parliament lobby today.
He said that the appointment, effective last night, is not a problem despite Rafizi being appointed as the PKR Vice President in the party elections recently.
He said that the small reshuffling was made after the PKR election was over, recently.
For other decisions, it will be announced personally by thr PKR President, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
Meanwhile, Saifuddin has been appointed as the PKR Election Director with another Vice President, Nurul Izzah Anwar, to replace Mohamed Azmin Ali.
The decision was made to lighten Mohamed Azmin Ali’s task load as he is now the Selangor Chief Minister.
However, Anwar also asked Mohamed Azmin to help Nurul Izzah and Saifuddin as he has a vast previous experience.
