PUTRAJAYA, 29 Oct: After almost seven hours outside the iron fence installed by the Putrajaya Corporation, finally the supporters of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI) were allowed in to take shelter under the tent by the police.
The unanimous decision was achieved after negotiations between the police and the Assemblyman for Taman Medan, Haniza Talha, and the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Serikandi Chief, Siti Aisyah Shaik Ismail.
However, the police still stood guard at the tent to avoid any unwanted event from taking place.
Prior to that, the situation was a little tense when eggs were thrown at the police, involving PKR supporters outside the fence at the Palace of Justice Complex compound.
Both parties were at each other’s necks causing a media practitioner to be splattered by eggs at the side.
It is understood that this happened because Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s supporters wanted to take shelter under the tent as the weather turned dim and rain was expected.
