QZ8501: Bodies found moved to temporary operations centre

SHAH ALAM, 30 Dec: The Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS) has been deployed to transfer the bodies of the Air Asia Indonesia QZ8501 aircraft passengers found in the Karimata Strait.

Several bodies were reportedly discovered at about 190 kilometres southwest of Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan.

Citing BH Online, rescuers began moving bodies found to be taken to Pengkalan Bun, which has been made into a temporary operations centre.

The KRI Bung Tomo warship is already on site to take the bodies found and debris which were previously detected at a nearby location.
