Khusrin: Some dismissed employees return to work with PKNS

SHAH ALAM, 8 Jan: Some of the employees from the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) whose contracts were terminated last February have returned to work at the state government subsidiary company.

The Selangor State Government Secretary, Datuk Mohammed Khusrin Munawi, said that the rest have already obtained employment at other companies and some are still unemployed.

“They have returned to work at PKNS but with different positions and salaries.

“Some of the others are already working at other places and while some are still unemployed. We will see to each one to be placed in state government subsidiary companies.

“It will take some time and God-willing, we can give them their bonuses, no problem” he said when contacted by Selangor Kini today.

However, he did not mention the number and when the employees whose contracts were terminated can continue their service with PKNS.

Mohammed Khusrin MunawiMohammed Khusrin said the decision was made after reviewing the report submitted PKNS before.

Regarding the court action process taken by the group of employees whose contracts were terminated, Mohammed Khusrin said that he is holding talks with the group for an out of court settlement.

However, he explained that the decision was subject to consent from both parties.
