SHAH ALAM, 2 Feb: The Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) has issued the assessment tax bills for the first term of 2015 amounting to 189,984 worth RM48.41 million.
The MPS Corporate Department Director, Mohamad Zin Masoad, said that the payment period began on January 1, 2015 and will end on February 28, 2015.
He said that payments can be made over the counter at the Headquarters, drive-through counters, mobile counters, the Taman Wangsa Permai Branch Office, the Rawang Branch and the Taman Sri Gombak Branch, as well at local authorities and Land & District Offices across Selangor.
“Payment can also be made at post offices across the Klang Valley and at the Kepong and Rawang Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) Branches.
Starting February 1, the headquarters and the Rawang Branch will be opened from 8 am to 12.30 pm on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays throughout the month of February, 2015,” he said in a press statement.
He said that MPS is providing the assessment tax bill services through e-mail for the purpose of facilitating the public in receiving the assessment tax bill.
Owners can also check their assessment tax bills online at www.mps.gov.my through e-taksiran if they have not received the bill for the first term of 2015.
