Selangor’s success should be inspiration to the young generation in Sarawak for change

MIRI, 3 Mar: The young generation in Sarawak should open their eyes to the success of the administrations of Selangor and Penang that focuses on a welfare state by mobilising change.

The Chief Minister of Selangor, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that the role of the local youth is in making changes by mobilising continuous efforts to ensure that Pakatan Rakyat takes over the administration of Sarawak.

He said that the success of the Selangor and Penang administrations is not impossible in happening to Sarawak is Pakatan Rakyat manages to take over the administration.

“The people there claim that PKR is not good in governing; only good at demonstrating. Look for yourself. The two richest states in the peninsula (Selangor and Penang) are governed by Pakatan Rakyat, apart from Kelantan.

“Selangor is the largest contributor with 24 percent of Malaysia’s GDP. Is it governed by BN? No…it is the opposition,” said the PKR Deputy President.

He said this during the Miri Branch PKR Chinese New Year Open House at Gymkhana Club last night.

At the event, Mohamed Azmin also launched the party machinery for the Senadin State Legislative Assembly before the delegation departed for Kuching.

The Selangor delegation being led by Mohamed Azmin is scheduled to visit the Sarawak Chief Minister’s Office for a courtesy visit to Tan Sri Datuk Adenan Satem.
