CM: Pakatan leaders have no problem declaring assets

SHAH ALAM, 8 Mar: The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that there was no problem in declaring assets.

He said that this is part of the principles and practices of Pakatan Rakyat (PR) leaders since 2008.

“There is no problem because there is nothing to hide.

“Any leader in PR would be willing to declare their assets,” he told reporters.

He said this in response to some parties asking the Chief Minister to declare his assets.

Prior to this, the Cheras Umno Chief, Datuk Seri Syed Ali Alhabshee, challenged PR Assemblymen and Members of Parliament to declare their assets.

The Pandan MP, Rafizi Ramli, and the Pokok Sena MP, Datuk Mahfuz Omar, were the first to take up this challenge.

It is reported that Rafizi will make a declaration of his assets at the Parliament lobby next week.
