3K carnival to reach out to the community in Sabak Bernam from 21-22 March

SHAH ALAM, 17 Mar: The Karnival Kampung Kesayangku programme, or 3K, which offers a variety of interesting activities with the local community will be launched by the Selangor government in the district of Sabak Bernam from March 21 to 22.

The programme is organised by the Standing Committee for Islamic Religious Affairs, Malay Customs and Heritage, Rural and Traditional Village Development will be officiated by its Exco, Datuk Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi.

It will take place as early as seven in the morning at the Ma’muniah Mosque, Simpang 5, in the district of Sabak Bernam.

Among the activities organised include a sales exhibition, colouring and painting contests, an art night, village cycling, beetle leaves composition contest and traditional cuisine, Suppa Duppa and so on.

The opening ceremony will take place on March 22 at 9 pm and will be accompanied by a premier forum and performances by local artists.

Members of the public are invited to join to enliven the atmosphere of the carnival.
