SHAH ALAM, 20 Mar: The people are asked to be more attentive by not abusing facilities provided for People With Disabilities (PWD), especially vehicle parking.
The Exco for Welfare, Health and Women’s Affairs, Dr Daroyah Alwi, said that the people should show a good example so that PWD facilities are always in good condition and can be used by this group.
“It becomes a barrier to PWDs, who should be given the facility.
“We urge for the public to not take advantage of the infrastructure provided for PWDs,” she said when contacted by Selangor Kini.
She said that the people should give priority to PWDs to have access to the facilities provided because not many facilities are available in a given area.
“So, with the little existing facilities, let us not abuse it.
“Show a caring attitude toward people with disabilities,” she said.
