Moving the residents of the village became an issue when the settlement they have occupied since 1985 changed status of industry since the early 1990s.

Residents claimed that they raised this same issue to the Sijangkang Assemblyman, Datuk Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi, but there has been no solution until now.

Elaborating, Chang Kim said that is the area is found to no longer be suitable to be an industrial zone, then application can be submitted for it to be revised.

“However, if the area is still needed as an industrial area, discussions should be held regarding moving the residents,” he said.
