SHAH ALAM, 14 Apr: PKR will help the PAS candidate who will contest in the Rompin by-election on May 5.
The PKR President, Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, said that PAS is expected to place its candidate because the seat was contested by the party in the last election.
“We will help, especially PKR, in Pahang. We will take part in ensuring that our candidate has full and strong support in Rompin,” she said during a press conference today.
The Rompin parliamentary seat was declared vacant by the Election Commission (EC) when its incumbent, Tan Sri Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis, was killed in the helicopter crash in Semenyih on April 4.
