SHAH ALAM, 21 Apr: Pakatan Rakyat will mobilise its members during a walkabout during the goods and services tax (GST) protest in Kuala Lumpur on May 1.
The PKR Secretary-General, Rafizi Ramli, urged Malaysians to join in to oppose the GST and to participate in the rally.
The GST, which was implemented on April 1, continues to pressure the people, and in fact some irresponsible traders are charging it arbitrarily.
The implementation received negative reactions and angered the people, and they have voiced this on social networking sites.
Consequently, the rally, organised by the ‘Kita Lawan’ Sevretariat, was organised to express dissatisfaction, thereby targeting one million Malaysians to take part to object the GST by wearing black.
