He said that the willingness has been clearly stated during the last Selangor State Assembly (DNS) session.

“We are ready to be audited by the Auditor General’s Department, the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and the Select Committee.

“If today we are greeted by Tan Sri Ambrin Buang, good and welcome. But if you come in and it is not yet operational, what is there to check,” he said.

He was responding to the statement by the Auditor General, Tan Sri Ambrin Buang, of wanting to audit DEIG.

Ambrin said that he is currently checking and examining the details regarding the establishment of the company.

DEIG is a state government subsidiary company that manages the investments of subsidiary companies of Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBI).

The company however is still in the process of setting up and will only be operational in 2016.
