MBSA spreads healthy lifestyle programmes

SHAH ALAM, 21 Sept: A total of 150 participants took part in the 3rd Edition Shah Alam Cycling Event organised by the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) on September 19.

Participants from the Shah Alam Cycling Club (KELAS) and Shah Alam residents went around the 25km route around the city centre through three checkpoints, namely the Section 7 Youth Complex Bus Stop, Section 16, and the Section 20 Suri Puteri Apartments.

The flag-off was done by the MBSA Deputy Secretary, Rosli Bakar, while the MBSA Deputy Mayor, Shukri Mohamad Hamin, Council Members and the MBSA Department Directors also participated in the event.

The Corporate Communications Officer, Shahrin Ahmad, said that MBSA will continue to organise various healthy lifestyle programmes that are now being received and have high demand among the citizens.

“This programme is synonymous with Shah Alam sport activities and is one of the leisurely programmes that is a favourite among the citizens.

“MBSA will also continue to strengthen healthy lifestyle programmes in everyday life by holding various sports activities for the youth of today,” he said in a statement.
