He said that the mosque-goers were pleased to welcome His Royal Highness by making preparations before the arrival of Aidiliadha with the participation of 200 volunteers to skin the meat.

“His Royal Highness’s cow was chosen and bought from Malacca. We estimate that we can get 200 to 300 kilogrammes of meat and HRH was happy to see this,” he told Selangor Kini.

This year, 24 cows were slaughtered and 22 of them were sacrificed while 2 were used for Aqiqah.

The participation of over 100 parishioners at a price of RM600 per portion and RM4,000 per cow.

He added that this is the third year that the mosque is holding the sacrifice ritual and the Aqiqah.

“The previous year, there were 27 cows, but this year we limited it because of lack of time.

“We are still accepting applications, but had to refuse and advise them to perform the ritual elsewhere,” he said.
