Calling someone a ‘pig’, Umno bankrupt of the issue

SHAH ALAM, 8 Oct: The actions of the Chairman of NGO Melayu, Datuk Jamal Md Yunos, in calling Anthony Loke a ‘human pig’, clearly shows that the party is becoming bankrupt in ways to attract the people’s support when they are merely focusing on racial ‘attacks’.

The Klang MMP, Charles Santiago, said that this is an irresponsible act and shows Umno’s failure in solving the problems that are plaguing the country.

“This is something to just warm the hearts of Malays only. The views of the people towards Umno will also become worse from now.

“If you fail to solve the people’s problems, they will express such words. This is not good for the (development) country,” he told Selangor Kini today.

He said that Jamal should criticize the right way and not have to come up with titles of all sorts if he truly wants to attract support.

Prior to this, Jamal claimed to hear Loke uttering harsh words to Malays on a video uploaded on Youtube.

Loke denied the matter and said that he was a victim of defamation by being accused of yelling the words ‘damn Malays’ when being arrested on October 6.

The Seremban MP said that he only damned the landowners who were evicting the residents of Kampung Ulu Temiang, Seremban, irrespective of race, including Malays.

He and 14 other individuals were arrested by the police for protesting the eviction of Kampung Ulu Temiang.
