PKNS allocates RM400,000 to upgrade eight empty spaces at apartment

BANGI, 13 Oct: RM400,000 has been allocated by the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) to upgrade eight empty spaces at the Section 16 Low-Cost Apartment for the comfort of the residents.

The PKNS Public Relations Manager, Ishak Hashim, said that the repairs and upgrading is to submit the empty space at the apartment to the Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) because the residential building has established a Management Corporation (MC).

“The reparation and upgrading was implemented in July, involving eight spaces from 24 apartment blocks in the area.

“Among the facilities upgraded include the takraw, badminton, volleyball and netball courts, the pedestrian walk, playground equipment, park benches and ornamental trees.

“In addition, PKNS also built a new futsal court for the local residents,” he said.

The submission of the documents was done by the PKNS Southern Region Development Controller, Lokman Abd Kadir, to the MPKj Corporate Planning and Public Relations Unit Head, Kamarul Izlan Sulaiman.
