“If the 10-acre application has support and a huge demand, I will try to help to implement it.

“We have to check back on how much it is used and how frequent and how it is implemented.

“So far, the Pusat Kemerlangan Perahu Layar is located in Langkawi.

“The centre we have is one of the centrals for the development of this sport,” he told Selangor Kini.

He explained that the Selangor government aspires to develop Pantai Batu Laut as a centre for sailing at the national level.

Previously, the Selangor State Sailing Association President, Abdul Aziz Abdullah said that they had identified a piece of 10 acre land in the area near the village suitable for the sport.

However, the land belongs to the government.
