“MBSA also encourages installing flags at business premises, government and private buildings, shops, schools and kindergartens as well as residential buildings starting 16 August to 16 September,” he told reporters after the flag instillation programme at the Banquet Hall, Wisma MBSA.

The symbolic installation was carried out by the Mayor of Shah Alam, Datuk Ahmad Zaharin Mohd Saad.

Among the vehicles that are sporting the flag include lorries, compactors, open tipper lorries, road sweeper lorries, vans, tail lift lorries, excavators and four-wheel drive vehicles.

He said that MBSA calls on the people to do it the right way and to not use worn flags to instill a sense of pride and patriotism.
