SEREMBAN, 8 Aug: The government led by Datuk Seri Najib Razak is clearly carrying out ‘people stupidisation’ programmes.
PKR Information Chief, Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh, said that it is not just Najib, but the ministers and leadership under him are highlighting the effort.
He said that this is placing the country in a chronic state while the people are continued to be set aside.
“The issue of trust is now plaguing Najib, unfortunately, the issue is defending his actions.
“Even the closest people do not know, the Umno Supreme Council also does not know about the RM2.6 billion issue.
“This is work to stupidise the people where they all seem to be ‘Ahmad Maslan’,” he said.
He said this at the President’s Trust Tour at the One Garden Hotel yesterday evening.
At the same time, the former President of the Abolish ISA Movement (GMI) asked members and leaders to strengthen the struggle to overthrow Umno-BN.
“In the past, we fought for the ISA to be abolished, but there is something bigger to overthrow.
“That is why we have to unite, find common ground and strengthen ties to reject Umno-BN entirely,” he said.
