KUALA LUMPUR: The Central PAS ordered the Selangor PAS Commissioner, Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad, to ensure that all Selangor Assemblymen from the party defends the Selangor government.
The PAS President, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, said that they need to continue serving the people, thus retaining the status of the Selangor government.
“The Central PAS has instructed all Selangor PAS Assemblymen to continue with the Chief Minister of Selangor, Mohamed Azmin Ali,” he said in a press statement yesterday.
He said that PAS’ cooperation with parties in Pakatan Rakyat in Selangor is within the framework built to defend the government that was built together through the people’s trust.
He said that the aspirations of the people who want change should be met even though cooperation in PR is at its most challenging.
“PAS will continue to implement political cooperation with PR, as long as it is consistent with the guidance of the al-Quran and the as-Sunnah,” he said.
