He said that this is a result of aggressive work carried out internally and periodic monitoring carried out, as well as continuous enforcement.

“Among the areas listed as hotspot are Jalan Kedah, Jalan Sungai Putus, Jalan Haji Osman, Kebun Nenas, Pulau Indah and Johan Setia, as well as some other areas,” he said in a statement.

Mohamad said that the locations were given serious attention by MPK through continuous monitoring and enforcement.

He said that this is to ensure that the problems in the area are resolved immediately in order to avoid situations that are unpleasant to residents.

“MPK invites the community to jointly combat illegal dumping and to be responsible in making Klang a ‘garbage-free zone’,” he said.

For that purpose, MPK welcomes any complaints and suggestions from residents related to cleanliness.

Residents can call the MPK JPP at 03-33724820 (general), 03 33748132 (complaints) and the toll-free number 1800 88 23826 or the monitoring number according to the areas involved.
