Worldwide contributes RM1 million to empower Tahfiz students & the blind

SHAH ALAM, 5 May: Worldwide Holdings contributed RM1 million to the Al Quran Tahfiz Education Fund and the Selangor Islamic University College (KUIS) Qira’at and the Braille Al-Quarnt to the Malaysian Islamic Blind People’s Association (Pertis).

Its Administrative Senior General Manager, Ahamad Azman Azizul Rahman, said that the donation was presented during the thanksgiving prayers in conjunction with Worldwide Holdings 25th anniversary on 29 April.

“It aims to empower students who are leaning to memorise the Al-Quran.

“In addition, it also provides an incentive for the blind to read the Al Quran,” he said in a press statement.

He said that the event was enlivened with the presentation of special religious talks by guest speaker Ustaz Roslan Mohamed.

The event was organised to express gratitude for the achievements of Worldwide Holdings as a competitive corporation in Selangor.
