SEKINCHAN, 12 May: A total of 1,000 flowers were distributed around the Sekinchan Public Market to honour mothers as a sign of affection.
The Sekinchan Assemblyman, Ng Suee Lim, said that the Mother’s Day programme was to express and appreciate the sacrifice of mothers who have brought up their children.
“Although they are not my mother, but they are women who are called mothers and their sacrifice and love they have given cannot be repaid.
“I also want to remind everyone to visit your parents who are old and to remember mothers not only once a year on Mother’s Day because mothers cannot be replaced,” he said.
