Shah Alam has the advantage for the younger generation to carry out community activities

SHAH ALAM, 12 Apr: The city of Shah Alam has many advantages and uniqueness to conduct various sports and community activities for the betterment of its community,

Project Engineer, Nina Nabilah Ruslan, 25, said that with this, Shah Alam is suitable as a location to organise programmes and it should be used as best possible.

She said that programmes such as the Unisel Fun Run 2015 is very good if the aim if not just victory but towards fostering relationships with the community.

“There are a lot of advantages in Shah Alam because there are many parks suitable for such activities, so it should be increased so that the community here does not need to go far like to Putrajaya or Kuala Lumpur.

“Apart from the run, programmes such as extreme sports and wall-climbing activities can be held in this city,” she told Selangor Kini today.

A Finance student at Unisel, Muhamad Muzakir Rosmi, 24, said that the run improves closeness between the students and the local community here.

“Usually, many people just stay at home during the weekends, but with activities like this, we can be together. It also maintains vitality,” he said.

Muhamad Asyraaf, 19, who participated in the event for the first time, said that such programmes should be encouraged and organised on a regular basis.

“Sports and recreational activities are great to foster closer ties in the community.

“I enjoy participating in them and we gain many benefits when we are together,” said the Engineering Diploma student from the Management and Science University (MSU).
