SHAH ALAM, 24 Feb: The agreement for the water structuring in Selangor may be affected when Putrajaya goes back on the previous agreement.
The Pakatan Rakyat Selangor Water Committee said that the agreement that was done verbally was violated when Putrajaya claimed that they own facilities such as water pipes in Selangor.
“The conflict erupted when suddenly the federal government claimed that the Semenyih and Bukit Nanas dams, and thousands of kilometres of water pipes in Selangor are under the administration and property of Putrajaya.
“Meanwhile, PR claimed that these all belong to the Selangor government,” the committee said, taken from Malaysia Kini.
