CM excited to be treated to Sarawak nasi talam ikan tongkol

PETRA JAYA, 2 Mar: The Sarawak nasi talam ikan tongkol managed to satisfy the appetite of the Selangor Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, last night as he thinks that the dish is a unique and special dish of Sarawakians.

While he stopped briefly before continuing his tentative programme in the Selangor delegation’s series of visits in Sarawak, Mohamed Azmin was served the delicious menu as religious prayers were coincidentally held.

Mohamed Azmin admitted that the menu that was served on a platter with rice, talam fish fillets with soft meat and covered by curry had its own unique flavour.

“At first intended to join the congregation who noticed my presence in the mosque. As I stepped to the right, I have a chance to taste the uniqueness of Sarawakian cuisine.

“Sarawakians are not only kind and friendly, but their food is also delicious,” he told Selangor Kini today.

He did not feel awkward sitting cross-legged and sharing a platter with the congregation, who took the opportunity to ask him how he was doing and to listen to their stories.

Meanwhile, the people there did not miss out on the opportunity to shake hands and take pictures with Mohamed Azmin.
