SABAK BERNAM, 2 Feb: Property holders are reminded to carry out their duties by settling their assessment tax starting last month (January).
The Sabak Bernam District Council (MDSB) Assistant Corporate Communications Officer, Noraini Ahmad, said that the MDSB Enforcement Unit will carry out enforcement actions from time to time against property holders who have assessment tax arrears.
She said that MDSB will perform the ‘Ops Sita’ (Foreclosure Operations) this February to ensure that property holders pay their rent according to schedule.
“Any property holders who have not received the assessment tax bill can visit the MDSB counter for checking,” she said in a statement.
She said that the counter operation hours are from Monday to Thursday, from 8 am to 4 pm.
Meanwhile, on Friday counters are open from 8 am to 12.30 pm and will be opened again at 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm.
