CM: TGNA brought Pakatan leaders closer

KOTA BHARU, 13 Feb: The late Datuk Seri Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat gave great significance to the country’s political landscape, especially in the consolidation of the opposition parties since the establishment of the Alternative Front (BA) up until it became Pakatan Rakyat (PR).

This includes his political philosophy of practicing moderation and good integrity throughout his administration.

The Chief Minister of Selangor, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that the death of the former Chief Minister of Kelantan is a considerable loss, not just to PAS and Muslims, but for the country and the people of Malaysia, in general.

He said that Nik Aziz was the only Muslim cleric and scholar who demonstrated noble and commendable leadership qualities, and took a moderate approach in actions and struggles.

“That is why he was liked and respected, not only my Muslims, but people of all races and religions because of his fair and just leadership, as well as his noble character that has become the example to the present generation.
