The Exco for Infrastructure, Public Amenities and Agro-Based Industries, Zaidy Abdul Talib, said that the organisation of the Agricultural Roadshow is to appreciate the farmers, livestock breeders and fishermen in Selangor.

“We want to appreciate these people, whom without us knowing has served a lot whether in supplying staple food or oxygen from trees and their plantation.

“We also want them to increase their income through agricultural modernisation programmes and leave the poverty rank from RM800 to RM1,500 per month,” he said in front of the audience at the opening ceremony of the Sungai Burong Agricultural Roadshow.
