CM to visit dengue combating campaign location on November 9

SHAH ALAM, 4 Nov: The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, will visit one location of the ‘Terjah and Destroy Aedes Selangor 2014’ in effort to fight the epidemic in the state on November 9..

The Exco for Health, Welfare, Women’s Affairs and Family, Dr Daroyah Alwi, said that the location that is the choice of the Chief Minister is kept secret so that the programme is anticipated by all parties and the people of Selangor.

She said that the state government is very serious about combating dengue because it is worrisome with the alarming record since early January until the end of October.

“To show the seriousness of the state government’s efforts in combating dengue, the Chief Minister will personally be involved in the ‘Terjah and Destroy Aedes’ at a hotspot location in Selangor on November 9,” he said.

She said this when speaking at the Selangorku Free of Dengue 2014 Action Plan Launch Ceremony and the Mega Gotong-Royong Programme: “Terjah and Destroy Aedes Selangor 2014′ Launch yesterday.

Also present was Mohamed Azmin and the State Government Deputy Secretary (Development), Datuk Mohammad Roslan Sakiman.
