The Chairman of the Sacrificial Ritual Committee for the Year 2014/1435H, Kasjoo Kadis, express excitement in the increase of participation for the sacrificial ritual this year although the price of cattle has increased to RM3,500 per cow.

“For the information of all this year, the price of cattle has gone up a bit. For one part, we are charging RM500 and RM3,500 per cow.

“Compared to last year where the price of a part was RM450 and the price of a cow was almost RM3,200,” he told the media.

He said that the increase in price this year was possibly influenced by the world market price.
