Hadi proposes for Abdul Khalid to remain as CM to overcome the political crisis

SHAH ALAM, 14 Sept: The PAS President, Datuk Seri Hadi Awang, proposed for the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) Youth to maintain Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim as the Chief Minister as the solution to the political crisis in Selangor.

“The meeting was among a series of meeting with the top leadership of the Pakatan component parties which was agreed upon by the Pakatan Youth to solve internal relations following the issue.

“During the discussion, when asked about Tuan Guru Haji Hadi’s opinion on a way out of this issue, he answered that it is by keeping Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.

“…and Tuan Guru will personally monitor Tan Sri Khalid’s weaknesses,” said the Keadilan Youth (AMK) Chief, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad in a press statement yesterday.

Also participating in the meeting was the Central PAS Youth Council Chief, Suhaizan Kaiat, and the Chief of DAPSY, Teo Kok Seong.

Nik Nazmi however described Hadi’s suggestion as worrying even though the political turmoil has been going on for almost three months.

At the meeting, he said that Hadi said that Abdul Khalid’s performance as Chief Minister will be personally monitored by him.

Nik Nazmi said that the choice is contrary to the majority support of Selangor Assemblymen for Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

He urged for any solution to this issue to be made within the framework with PR.
