Selangor Ulamak Council criticises PAS Assemblymen for signing statutory declaration

SHAH ALAM, 1 Sept: The 26th Selangor State PAS Ulamak Council Annual Conference 2014 which convened yesterday unanimously condemned two PAS Assemblymen who signed the statutory declaration supporting Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the Selangor Chief Minister candidate without the knowledge and consent of the party.

According to the press statement which was released late yesterday evening, the conference which was held at the Al-Munirah Hall, Johan Setia, Klang, said that they will also leave it to the Central PAS Disciplinary Committee to take action against the two Assemblymen based on Clause 82 of the PAS Constitution (Amendment) 2011.

“The Selangor PAS Ulamak Council Annual Conference at the Al-Munirah Hall, Johan Setia, Klang, Selangor, agreed unanimously to pass the motion to condemn and denounce the actions of the two Assemblymen who signed the statutory declaration to support Datuk Seri Wan Azizah,” the press statement said.

Meanwhile, when commenting on the latest developments, the Selangor PAS Secretary, Mohd Khairuddin Othman, said that the statement was confirmed by the Selangor Ulamak Council as being true and accurate.

“Selangor PAS expects many more complaints and motions to be made and sent to the Disciplinary Committee on the undisciplined actions of our two Assemblymen in Selangor.

“We know that there are more efforts to lure our Assemblymen in Selangor.

“We have complete information on who were involved and we will reveal the names of these lobbyists if the game is not stopped immediately,” he replied in a message to journalists.
