“I am studying the core of the budget. It will be brought before the State Government Executive Council to be approved,” he said during the prayers in conjunction with his appointment as Chief Minister here at the Bukit Antarabangsa Mosque.

Mohamed Azmin said that it would involve 50 percent for development and 40 percent for management.

He said that for housing, the State Government will build more affordable and low-cost housing.

“We will emphasise on the migrant population, where they came to this state to work.

“We also want the Malay community to dominate state property, we do not want it when people mention Malays, people only think of squatters,” he said.

He said that apart from that, for education the State Government will review the amount of provisions to be given as scholarships to the students of the University of Selangor (Unisel), the Selangor Islamic University College (KUIS) and Inpens.

“We do not want students to be burdened by high fees, so we are going to help them because education is the core in global challenges,” he said.
