Abdul Khalid challenges new CM to implement the water shares for the people

SHAH ALAM, 22 Sept: The Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, challenged the new Chief Minister to implement the issuance of water shares in the state,

This is because issuing water shares in Selangor is one of the promises in the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) manifesto in the 13th General Election.

“I challenge the new Chief Minister to issue shares so that the people can own water shares in Selangor,” he said at the Chief Minister Farewell Ceremony at the State Government Secretary (SUK) Building today.

Abdul Khalid added that the State Government had previously managed to return the ownership of water management to Selangor with assets worth RM14 billion to the people of the state.

The move was reported to be the greatest success throughout his leadership of the Selangor Government administration.
