SHAH ALAM, 2 AUGUST: Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim urged the police to speed up investigation regarding the water supply sabotage in Selangor.
“Water supply was once again sabotaged earlier this morning. We hope the Police force will be able to speed up investigations regarding this and stop this act of betrayal that affects the people of Selangor,” wrote Abdul Khalid on his Facebook account.
State EXCO for Infrastructure and Public Amenities, Dr. Ahmad Yunus Hairi went on the ground at Bestari Jaya to get a clearer picture regarding the incident.
Before, a group of workers handling the pumps within the vicinity of HORAS Bestari Jaya was threatened by a group of armed gangsters.
For the time being, a team from Lembaga Urus Air Selangor (LUAS) and Drainage and Flow Department (JPS) are working hard to ensure the water pumping operation is not affected.
