Hadi & Abdul Khalid discussed many things, but did not touch on the CM issue

PETALING JAYA, 14 July: The PAS Secretary-General, Datuk Mustafa Ali, denied that the meeting between the party President, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, and the Chief Minister of Selangor, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, at his house in Bukit Damansara was to discuss the leadership crisis in the state.

Instead, Mustafa said, the meeting was a return visit because prior to that, Abdul Khalid visited Abdul Hadi when he was being treated at the National Heart Institute (IJN).

“If they wanted a meeting, it would take a long time and it will be early. When I arrived, it was already 11 at night, after the Terawih prayers.

“It is normal for politicians to talk about all sorts of things. But the issue was not touched (the position of Chief Minister),” he said.

On the night of July 12, Abdul Khalid, through his Facebook page, uploaded a photo of the PAS President’s visit to his home, which attracted the attention of many after the controversy of Khalid’s position as the Chief Minister of Selangor was much debated.
