CM and Exco Visit Klang Tomorrow

SHAH ALAM, 24 Apr: The people of Klang have the opportunity to meet the Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, and the Executive Council line, in conjunction with the People’s Friendly Programme (PKMR) in Klang tomorrow, from early in the morning to night.

The programme organised by the Chief Minister’s Office, in cooperation with the Klang District and Land Office and the Klang Municipal Council, is to foster closer relationship between the leaders and the people, in addition to closer inspecting the problems in the Klang District.

Therefore, the people, especially the people of Klang, are invited to join and enliven the events planned throughout the day, in addition to having the opportunity to meet the leaders of the state.

As early as 7.30am, Abdul Khalid, who is also the Assemblyman for Port Klang, will attend the Klang District Department Monthly Assembly, which will be held at the Klang District and Land Office Multipurpose Hall.

As soon as that is completed, he will then attend a session with the people, starting at 8am, at the Hamzah Hall, Klang Municipal Council (MPK).

He is also scheduled to perform the Friday prayers at the Kampung Uda Mosque in Port Klang and is expected to be there around 1.30pm, before starting the programme with the people for the evening session.

Starting from 3pm, Abdul Khalid will participate in a sports event with the people, located at the Pandaraman Sports Complex until 5.30pm.

At night, he will be in Meru to attend the Arts and Culture Night for two hours, from 8.30pm, at the MPK Hall.

Abdul Khalid had previously attended a similar programme in Klang in April 2012, with a line-up of activities like meetings with civil servants and leaders of the Klang community, a visit to the People’s Product Development Centre and a premier talk.
