CM: Third Klang Bridge Tenders End in February

KLANG, 15 Feb: The tenders for the third ridge will be released at the end of this month to help disperse traffic problems in this area, said Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.

The Chief Minister said that construction is expected to begin this March, thus solving traffic problems that have plagued the people for a long time.

He assured that the government is constantly monitoring the traffic developments in Klang to ensure that it is smooth and safe.

“We will continue to make developments for the people. The construction of this third bridge will be carried out this year. The state government has issued provisions and tenders issued will end this February,” he said.

He said this in a speech at the Selangor Chap Goh Meh Celebration organised by the Sungai Pinang State Legislative Assembly (DUN), together with the Klang Municipal Council (MPK) here art Jalan Pasar last night.

Over 2,000 people of various races enlivened the celebration.

In addition to stage performances, guests were also entertained by lion and dragon dances.
