KAJANG, 4 Mar: Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim and Mohamed Azmin Ali have agreed to not make statement on the party election until the Kajang by-election is over.
They announced this at a press conference after launching the PKR Main Operations Room at Jalan Cheras this afternoon.
The Chief Minister, Abdul Khalid, said the main focus is to ensure Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s victory in the Kajang by-election.
“I hope that the media will not use this opportunity to ask questions on the contest for the party deputy president.
“I agree for the campaign to be carried out after the Kajang by-election. I previously mentioned this and it was agreed by Azmin,” he said in a press conference after inaugurating the PKR Operations Room in conjunction with the Kajang by-election.
Last Friday, Abdul Khalid announced to contest for the position of PKR Deputy President which is currently held by Azmin.
He decided this to bring changes to the party rather than having personal agendas.
